 Intro

Here’s our inspiration for “Danger Roo: The Game” :

Roo’s Favorite Cups Ranked:

1. Hot beverage cups. Mugs, Starbucks cups. Could it contain a scalding beverage? Yes, I want that.

2. Fully filled soda cup with loose lids. The more full the cup and the looser the lid, the better.

3. Her siblings sports bottles.

4. Other people’s sippy cup.

99. Her own  sippy cup

and a Game was born...

 Objective

collect as many animal crackers as possible by climbing furniture to knock over cups

How to play:

Set up the living room furniture as you wish, but be sure each double (table, tv cabinet) and triple (window sill) level piece has at least one bordering piece that is one level smaller.

Thus Roo has a route up (I.e.: from floor to dollhouse to table or floor to chair to tv cabinet to windowsill)

NEXT: place cups on high levels throughout game board

 Pick your Roo game piece

Choose from Stubborn Roo, Who me? Roo, Halloween Flower Roo, Eating Matchbox Car Roo, and Look I Have Dad’s Sharp Pencil Roo.

Who goes first?

The most recent player to have fallen down goes first (so, probably, the youngest)

On your turn

Roll the special Roo die. You can advance 1,2,or3 spaces, climb a level (if a higher level is adjacent to your piece), or pick a DANGER CARD

When you reach a cup

when you land on a space occupied by a cup you knock it over and collect the number of animal crackers associated with it. Then that cup is out of play.

End Game

The game is over when all cups have been collected and all Roos have returned to the playmat in the corner of the game board.

Then, players count their animal crackers. Whoever has the most wins.

NOTE: players can also win or lose animal crackers according to challenges on the DANGER CARDS and you can LOSE them by eating them during the game (looking at you, youngest players).
